This lineup has been particularly successful because you’re getting so much value here—basically, you’re getting a flagship smartphone at a fraction of the price—while also not having to deal with too many compromises. Based on my results, I suggest taking this test on your existing phone and then with the Pixel 7A. Then, compare your results to these scores.

There are a lot of amazing features in this phone, and when compared to a full flagship phone, there aren’t many things that are lacking. At this point, it’s not even much of a mid-ranger—rather, it’s more of a flagship. We’re getting an internal 4,385 Mah battery, 18w fast charging, and NFC. Just the SIM card slot sits on the left side of the device. The power button, volume up and down, and microphone with noise cancellation are located on the right side. The speaker and USB C port for data transfer and charging are located on the bottom of the device. The Google logo and camera module are located on the back of the phone. That’s pretty much it. I also think the colour which are in market are really nice. Overall, I think Pixel does a good job of picking out all the different colours for their phones.

In conclusion, even though I think the Google Pixel 7A is a great phone and that most people will really like it, it is very difficult to recommend if you are going to pay the full MRP for it, which, as I mentioned earlier, is pretty much what the phone is still being offered at if you do want to buy it brand new. If you want to get this as used phone and kind of pay that used market price, though, I actually feel like this phone is still a good option and definitely worthwhile, but again, it depends on what your other options are compared to this phone, but overall, I think it is a very reliable option in 2024. It’s a good phone if this is the phone you really want, and it will receive a lot of Android software updates in the future as Google is already at android 15 beta and final release would be in next few months for this device too.
