Leaked images and specifications of the google Pixel Watch 3 leaks suggest that Google may stick with a similar design despite rumors of a larger model.
If leaks from OnLeaks and 91Mobiles are accurate, the Wear OS smartwatch won’t change much beyond its thin (but overall small) screen and 307mAh battery.
Pixel Watch 3 would normally have a 1.2-inch screen, but this time the frames may be thinner. The sensor array appears unchanged.

This suggests that the major upgrade may be more about selection than design. As reported by 9to5Google in March, Google is reportedly planning a 45mm Pixel Watch 3 and a regular 41mm version. The dimensions will allow for a larger battery, but this will primarily be a good choice for people with larger wrists or who prefer larger smartwatches. Google is expected to unveil the third-generation Pixel Watch and the Pixel 9 smartphone at an event in early fall, likely in October.
With more choices of smartphones than Apple and Samsung, which have both long existed, the update might provide Google a competitive edge. The Pixel Watch 3 is anticipated to serve as the flagship model for Wear OS 5, which offers notable enhancements in terms of quality and battery life.
