This gives developers the opportunity to get their apps ready for Android 15’s full compatibility before the device’s summer release to the general market.
The release of apps targeted toward Android 15 on Google Play is now possible thanks to developers’ ability to evaluate and integrate these changes into their apps.

Passkeys are now an easy manner for users to log into apps optimized for Android 15. With the use of screen locks, fingerprint scans, or facial recognition, these passkeys may be easily verified, offering a quick and safe authentication process.
Updates to Force-Close Functionality
An application that has been force-closed stops working until it is manually relaunched. When these apps are in this inactive state, their associated widgets will appear grayed out. but we have tested it that on our pixel device that but an app icon which is force-closed will not greys out.

However, Google’s inclusion of Private space, a feature similar to Samsung’s Secure Folder, is the biggest update for apps in this android 15 beta 3. Users can use it to protect particular apps by adding an extra degree of authentication. Developers of relevant apps must modify their logic regarding profiles because this method essentially moves apps to a customized profile. To make sure that apps moved to private space don’t show up on the home screen or in the app drawer, custom launchers will also need to be updated.
