It’s actually OnePlus’ first tablet, and it’s causing quite a stir in the industry. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a tablet that is more reasonably priced than an iPad or a Galaxy Tab but still superior to a standard Android tablet. ONEPLUS PAD: SETTLE LITTLE

With a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip and an LCD screen (not even AMOLED), the specifications may not be the most impressive, but when you consider that even iPads use IPS LCDs (until the iPad Pros, which are much more expensive), it’s still quite impressive. Additionally, It feels incredibly powerful and responsive thanks to the 144Hz refresh rate and the slick Oxygen OS software.

What’s best? It costs only £449, $479 dollars, or €499, or about $50 less than the 10th generation iPad. Therefore, if you’re looking for a new tablet, this is definitely one to take into account! What’s even better, though? The OnePlus Pad is still £50 less expensive than an iPad in spite of all of its impressive features! But for me, the design is what really makes it stand out. It’s incredibly thin and light, with a special aspect ratio of 7:5, which is ideal for multitasking. This makes it great for web browsing while still being operable with one hand (although it can be a little slippery, so perhaps get a case with it).

With a pixel density of 296 and a resolution of 2800×1800, the display is also really impressive. Up to 500 lumens of brightness are possible, and Dolby Vision HDR is supported. To be honest, if you’re not too fussy about the viewing angles or really deep black levels, especially around the black bars on videos, you won’t really notice that it’s just an LCD. Nevertheless, it still has a great overall appearance.

Not to mention the 144Hz refresh rate, which is incredibly smooth but difficult to notice on a 60Hz video. My favorite accessory when all the extras are included in is the keyboard because it adds so much functionality. Additionally, the folio design not only serves as a case but also has a really sophisticated and polished appearance. In addition to keeping your OnePlus Pad safe, the folio design adds some texture and friction to make it more comfortable to hold in one hand. The keyboard is a great accessory to have if you’re looking for even more functionality. It lacks a USB-C port and only has one position, making it less opulent than Apple’s Magic Keyboard, but it is still a full-size keyboard with a wonderful touchpad for typing.

It should be noted that because it is not a Bluetooth keyboard, you must dock it in order to use it. Overall though, it makes it very easy to take notes and browse the web.

The OnePlus Pad is 6.54 millimeters thick and weighs about 550 grams. I also really value the relatively thin bezels, which make the 11-inch form factor feel a little bit cozier in my hands.

The tablet has two speakers, one on top and one on bottom (or sides, depending on how you hold it), as well as a large main camera module on the back. The sound will adjust to give you a nice stereo separation as you change your orientation, which is cool.

But overall, the OnePlus Pad’s battery life is the best of any Android device to date and should be adequate for the majority of users.
